How Two-Piece Induction Sealing Works

 

The induction sealing process is a non-contact heating method that bonds the foil liner to the container:

 

1. Insertion – The liner is placed inside the bottle cap (foil side facing the container opening)

2. Capping – Cap is applied to the container with proper torque

3. Induction – Container passes through an electromagnetic field, heating the aluminum foil

4.Sealing – Heat activates the seal layer, bonding foil to the container rim

5. Separation – Paperboard backing releases from the foil and stays in the cap

6. Result – Foil seals the container; paperboard becomes a resealable liner
